Autumn Update

Hello all, Junebug here writing with some updates after quite a pause.

To all who subscribed from my original blog “Art and Adventure for Ape Conservation” and to the folks who signed up for my artist updates since then, I hope you will find it interesting to know I have a performance coming up this Friday evening that will be live broadcasted on Santa Cruz Community TV and streamed online at www. communitytv.org. You can tune in!

The details:

The show is called Look Mom, I’m on TV and it airs from 7-8pm tomorrow, this Friday 10/11. It is a locally produced show promoting musical acts in Santa Cruz. I’ve been on the show a few times before (1st time, 2nd time, 3rd time, 4th time) and am looking forward to returning with the new configuration of my band. Taylor Abbott, a software engineer from Fresno joins me on electric bass and Jose Perez, fellow veterinary technician, will back it up on the drum kit.

If you’re in the Santa Cruz area and have the ancient technology of television, you can tune in on Channel 27 in Santa Cruz or Channel 73 in Watsonville. If you’re elsewhere, or too modern for TV, you can stream the show live at www.communitytv.org/watch/

I will be performing a mix of Spooky Season tunes since its that time of year, plus folk classics, jazz standards, and a selection of my greatest hits.

Spooky Season First Friday at Treehouse Dispensary, October 2024

If you’d like to receive notifications about other upcoming shows, sign up on Bandsintown.

As a side note, today is World Mental Health Day and October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, both very important subjects to keep in mind and close to heart.

Be well!
